<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optically transparent adhesive, preventing yellowing even if undergoing a heat-treatment and ultra violet irradiation, and to provide a protecting sheet for a solar cell, capable of being used as a back sheet and a cover member of the solar cell by laminating the optically transparent adhesive on an organic film. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive contains a vinyl copolymer having (A) a diamine compound, (B) ethylene as a monomer component, and carboxylic acid having functional group capable of reacting on the diamine compound, or its dielectric.
