Assembly of a signal processing component in a housing of a hearing aid

The instrument i.e. hearing aid (1) has a frame (3) placed within a casing. A fixation device i.e. microphone (9), is placed on the frame. The casing includes an assembly opening (11) formed along spatial direction (A) such that the frame is pushed into the casing through the assembly opening. The casing includes a microphone opening formed along another spatial direction (B) perpendicular to the former spatial direction of the assembly opening. The microphone opening interacts with the fixation device placed on the frame such that the frame is fixed against sliding out of the casing. The casing is an integral injection-molding casing (2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a casing for a hearing instrument (2) a frame for a hearing instrument.
