<p>In the case of an air-bearing device having at least one bearing body (12, 13), which has a multiplicity of outflow channels (16), which open out at a bearing surface (14, 15) of the bearing body (12, 13) and through which compressed air can be directed, wherein the bearing surface (14, 15) interacts with a facing counter-surface (18, 19) of a substrate body (25) such that an air cushion (20, 21) can be generated between the bearing surface (14, 15) and counter-surface (18, 19) as a result of the outflowing compressed air, the air cushion giving rise to a bearing gap (22, 23), as a result of which the two surfaces are spaced apart from one another corresponding to a width of the bearing gap (22, 23), the bearing body, as first bearing body, forms part of a pneumatic clamping device (40) which, in addition, has a second bearing body (13) with a multiplicity of outflow channels (16) opening out at a second bearing surface (15) of the second bearing body (13), wherein the two bearing surfaces (14, 15) are located opposite one another and the substrate body (25) can be positioned between the bearing surfaces (14, 15) such that it can be firmly clamped pneumatically in the desired position, in a direction perpendicular to the bearing surfaces (14, 15), on this side, and on the other side, of the substrate body (25) by the two air cushions (20, 21) generated between the bearing surfaces (14, 15) and the respectively associated counter-surfaces (18, 19).</p> |
