The system (1) has a network structure (2), and network components (3) e.g. security lights (4), indication sign lights (5), light switch monitoring devices (6), mains voltage monitoring devices (7), a commercial power supply (8), an alternate power supply (25) e.g. battery device, where the network components are connected below each other by a cable connection (9) i.e. Ethernetcable (10). The cable connection is used for data transfer and for power supply of the components. The cable is designed as a twisted-pair cable in an eight-wire design. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying an emergency lighting system with energy and data. |
