PURPOSE: A ship unloading slewing tower is provided to smoothly control the turning angle of a boom by vertically turning the free end of the boom with a hydraulic cylinder installed between an upper rotator and the boom. CONSTITUTION: A ship unloading slewing tower comprises a lower holder(1), a tower(2), a fixed frame, a conveyor(4), an upper rotator(5), a boom(7), a boom turning part(10), a fixed chute(14), and a chute rotating part(17). The bottom of the tower is fixed on the top of the lower holder. The fixed frame is fixed on the top of the tower. One end of the conveyor is positioned in the fixed frame to transfer products unloaded from a ship to the fixed frame. The upper rotator is installed around the tower, and the bottom and the top thereof are rotatably installed on the top of the lower holder and the bottom of the fixed frame. Accordingly, the upper rotator rotates horizontally on the tower. Unloading objects transferred along the conveyor are supplied to the boom for transferring. The boom turning part is installed between the upper rotator and the boom in order to vertically turn the free end of the boom. The fixed chute is installed on the fixed frame and guides the unloading objects transferred along the conveyor to the boom.
