PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to reduce the leakage of lubricating fluid by forming an interface between the lubricating fluid and air on three parts. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(120) is fixed to a base member(110). A fixing unit(130) is installed on the shaft. A sleeve member(160) forms a bearing gap with the fixing unit to be filled with lubricating fluid. The fixing unit is formed by a plurality of fixing members(140,150). The lubricating fluid is located between the fixing members. A gas liquid interface is formed between the fixing members. |
