<p>The installation has a recovery and evacuation unit (6) positionable in series with a cutting device (3) that comprises a lower cutting enclosure. A grinding housing is arranged with a rotor (62) for cutting functions. The grinding housing has an axis of rotation that is parallel to a line (13) of the cutting device. The enclosure is in communication with an opening. A discharge device is arranged with a set of openings at a location of the enclosure. The enclosure is lowered by gravity of contents of the enclosure. An independent claim is also included for a combine harvester.</p>
