Compositions for Improving Oral Hygiene Comprising Photosensitizers and Pine Resin Extracts as an Active Ingredient Using LED Irradiation

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing photosensitizer and Pinus densiflora extract is provided to prevent or treat periodontal disorders. CONSTITUTION: A composition for enhancing oral hygiene contains photosensitizers and Pinus densiflora extract as an active ingredient. The photosensitizer is ALA(5-aminolevulinic acid). The wavelength of the LED is 450-475 nm or 650-675 nm. The concentration of Pinus densiflora extract is 1-10 mg/ml. An oral microbe includes Actinomyces sp., Lactobacillus sp. Porphyromonas sp., or Streptococcus sp.
