PURPOSE: A wind power generator with a vertical axis is provided to increase power generation efficiency by converting a blade into a horizontal shape which reduces air resistance. CONSTITUTION: A wind power generator with a vertical axis comprises a housing, a center fixed axis(50), a body frame, a plurality of blade frames, a circular rotator(400), rotary wind cone, a pair of blades(700), a driving unit, a operating unit, a brake pad, and a power generator. The operating unit is installed in the blade frame, and selectively converts the blades into a horizontal form. The brake pad is equipped in the operating unit, and brakes the body frame when the blades are converted into the horizontal form. The power generator is connected to the body frame, and converts the rotary force of the body frame into electricity. |
