An apparatus for testing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to reduce the vibration during the movement of a carrier as the carrier is operated by magnetic force generated by a magnetic member and a magnetic roller in a non-contact type, thereby preventing a connection error between the LCD panel and a probe unit caused by the vibration. An apparatus for testing an LCD panel comprises a main body, at least one loading/unloading unit, a test unit, a carrier(100), a guide member, and a magnetic driving unit(105,106,107). The at least one loading/unloading unit is disposed in the main body, and the LCD panel is supplied or carried out by the loading/unloading unit. The carrier is installed to move linearly to the loading/unloading unit and the test unit in the main body and has a fixing unit for fixing the LCD panel. The guide member is long installed along the moving direction of the carrier in the main body and guides the movement of the carrier. The magnetic driving unit is installed to be parallel with the guide member and drives the carrier in a non-contact type by magnetic force. |
