An LCD is provided to drive green pixel cells included in some of unit pixel cells displaying an image of a medium gray scale using a first gate driver and drive green pixel cells included in other unit pixel cells using a second gate driver to minimize a greenish phenomenon and a pinkish phenomenon. A display unit includes a plurality of pixel rows arranged in one direction. A plurality of data lines(DL) is arranged to intersect the pixel rows. A plurality of pixel cells(PXL) is arranged along the pixel rows to be located at both sides of the respective data lines and have different shapes. A first gate line(GL1) is disposed at an upper side of each pixel row. A second gate line(GL2) is disposed at a lower side of each pixel row. A black matrix layer includes a plurality of pixel openings which expose portions of the pixel cells and have the same shape. |
