PURPOSE: A diamond tool having excellent hardness and abrasion resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to satisfy target hardness and abrasion resistance at low price by using an iron as a binding material. CONSTITUTION: A diamond tool having excellent hardness and abrasion resistance(100) comprises a shank(120) and a cutting tip(140). The shank forms a body. The cutting tip is coupled to the exterior of the shank and has a diamond and a binding material. The binding material is composed of flat Fe powder. The binding material is composed of 10 wt.% or less of one or more of copper, nickel, cobalt, tin, tungsten, and silicon and Fe powder.
