CROWN AND FLATNESS CONTROL METHOD FOR HOT ROLLING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A sheet crown in a hot rolling process and flatness control method are provided to control the sheet crown on the front end stand of a hot rolling process, and the flatness on the rear end stand of the hot rolling process. CONSTITUTION: A sheet crown in a hot rolling process and flatness control method comprises: the step(S11) of the collection of rolling information for the input of the rolling information indicating the information on a material for rolling ; the step(S12) of the determination of a shape control unit for the determination of the operation of the shape control unit controlling the sheet crown and flatness of the material; the step(S13) of the calculation of the amount of thermal crown variations for the calculation of the amount of thermal crown generated from the work roll rolling the material by the use of the rolling information; the step(S14) of the determination of cooling pattern for the determination of a cooling pattern with regard to the longitudinal-directional cooling of the work roll according to the amount of the thermal crown variations; and the step(S15) of the output of a control signal for the output of the control signal which is generated for the hot rolling process to be performed according to the determined operation and cooling pattern of the shape control unit. The cooling pattern includes a first cooling pattern which cools both end pars of the work roll at a higher temperature than the center part of the work roll, and a second cooling pattern which cools both end parts of the work roll at a lower temperature than the center part of the work roll.
