摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A virtual facility system for steel industry and an operating method thereof are provided to simulate virtual facilities and steel products by reflecting the attribute of a steel facility. CONSTITUTION: A 3D shape extracting unit(110) designs virtual facilities as 3D images by being connected to a 3D CAD(Computer Aided Design) system. A kinematic function unit(120) outputs and defines the kinematic operation of the virtual facility. An event interpretation function unit(130) outputs and extracts the attribute of a steel product by interpreting an event generated in a production process. A facility interpretation function unit(150) outputs influence on the virtual facilities based on interaction between the virtual facility and the steel product. A modification model function unit(140) operates the virtual facility according to a prediction model and a control algorithm by applying the control algorithm and the prediction model to the virtual facility.
