摘要 PURPOSE: A fuel cooling system of a DME(Dimethyl-Ether) fuel vehicle is provided to reduce operating load and to improve fuel efficiency as the operation frequency of a cooling motor fan is reduced by maximizing a fuel cooling effect by condensate water. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cooling system of a DME fuel vehicle comprises a fuel tank(10), a fuel supply line, a fuel supply pump, a common rail(40), a fuel injector(50), a fuel return line(L3), a fuel cooler(60), and a drain pipe(60a). The fuel supply line guides DME of the fuel tank to an engine. The fuel supply pump is installed in the fuel supply line and forcibly delivers the DME to the fuel injector. The common rail maintains the pressure of fuel pressurized by the fuel supply pump. The fuel injector injects the DME supplied from the common rail. The fuel return line is branched from the fuel injector and the common rail, and recovers the residual fuel. The fuel cooler is installed in the fuel return line. Condensate water supplied from a drain pipe is supplied to the fuel cooler, and the DME is cooled by the condensate water.
