PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment system is provided to mix the effluent more smoothly and to efficiently purify it. CONSTITUTION: A wastewater treatment system(100) comprises an agitator(120): an effluent water storage tank(110) and a solid and liquid separator(140). The agitator comprises a main body, a waste water inlet part and a waste water outlet part. The wastewater inlet part is formed on the side of the main body. The wastewater discharging part is formed on the side of the main body and is formed in a place where it is the upper tank of a wastewater inlet part. The wastewater storage tank supplies the waste water to the agitator being connected to the wastewater inlet part. The solid-liquid separation apparatus is supplied with the agitated wastewater from the agitator being connected to the wastewater outlet part and separates the solid state substances and the liquid state substances in the wastewater. In the wastewater inlet part, the main body of the agitator is formed at the cross sectional area to be bigger as it gets towards the waste water outlet part and the main body has the shape of a truncated cone in which diameter gets bigger toward the upper area.
