Device for calibration of seismometers consists of a fixed platform on which movable platform is placed, block for control of motion of the platform, signal generator and system for data collection, it includes a rigid, though flexible steel plate fixed on a fixed platform, there movable platform is placed, for placement of seismological equipment under investigation there, this is brought into motion with electromagnetic drives of vertical and horizontal movement, for modeling respective vibrations. Registration of displacement of movable platform is carried out with high-sensitive infrared interferometric measuring device invariant to direction of displacement of the platform placed in electronic block for measurement and reading displacement. The value of motion of the platform is visually controlled with a 16-bit analog-digital transformer. Registered vibrations are stored in personal computer for calculation of frequency characteristics and transfer functions of all the components of seismometers of different types. |
