A hydro-electric power plant comprises a dam (1) with waterways (2) and slides (4), hydro-turbines (5), connected to electric generators (6). The protective device (8) for the dam is arranged as a reinforced concrete frame (8) on piles, with overpass (14, 15) at its upper surface, is placed near the dam (1) at the side of the lower pool (9). The side of the frame (8) at the side of the dam is connected to the wall (12) and emergency control slides (10), placed in front of the takeoff tailwater conduits (7). Height of the frame (8) is close to the height of the dam (1). The invention provides increase of safety of low-head hydro-electric power plants. |
