Method for evaluation of effectiveness of treatment of diabetic nephropathy includes evaluation of decrease of the levels of micro-albuminuria, proteinuria, rate of glomerular filtration before and after treatment course. One determines the levels of interleukin -1&bgr;, interleukin-10, gamma-interferon and transforming growth factor &bgr; in blood serum of patients in dynamics of treatment. One calculates the ratio of gamma-interferon/interleukin-10 as characteristic of immune-inflammatory activity. If the levels of interleukin -1&bgr;, gamma-interferon and transforming growth factor &bgr; are decreased 1.5 times and more compared to initial level, or come to control values, and the level of interleukin-10 increases and the ratio gamma-interferon/ interleukin-10 decreases to control values, treatment is evaluated as effective. At absence of change of the levels of activity of those ferments after the course of treatment or at presence of negative dynamics of those treatment is evaluated as non-effective. |
