METHOD OF CUTTING HYPERBOLOID GEARS AND TOOLS

A method of cutting hyperboloid gears for hyperboloid gearing consists in that axes of a workpiece and a tool are crossed, and the angular velocities are inversely proportional to the number of gears, cutting is carried out by a finger cutter on a workpiece made as a one-sheet hyperboloid. Cutting is performed on a vertical milling machine with a dividing head by feed along the straight-line shaper of the one-sheet hyperboloid.
