发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF COATED SUPERHARD ALLOY MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture material of high performance which is described in the title, by further coating superhard alloy material, which is coated with boride, carbide (carbonitride) of IVa-VIa group transition metal, A1, B, or Si, with A12O3 by heating the material in a mixed gas consisting of A1C13, H2, and CO2 or CO at high temp. CONSTITUTION:Superhard alloy material coated with boride, carbide, (or carbonitride) of one or more kinds of IVa-VIa group transition metals, A1, B, or Si is heated in the flow of a mixed gas consisting of A1C13, H2, and CO2 or CO (dew point of H2 and CO2 or CO is -50 deg.C or under) at 600-1,050 deg.C in order to deposit and coat the material with A12CO3 through chemical deposition. Hereafter, the coated super-hard alloy material is subjected to heat-treatment at 850-1,100 deg.C, pref. at 1,050 deg.C.
