PURPOSE: A LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) storage tank is provided to reduce production costs by minimizing use of metal having excellent low temperature property. CONSTITUTION: A LNG storage tank(60) comprises an inner shell(61), an outer shell(62), supports(63), an insulating layer part(64). LNG is stored inside the inner shell. The outer shell surrounds the exterior of the inner shell to form a space between the outer shell and the inner shell. The supports are installed in the space between the inner shell and the outer shell to support the inner shell and the outer shell. The insulating layer part is installed in the space between the inner shell and the outer shell and reduces heat transfer. |
