<p>A belt-type probe and a method for forming an ultrasonic image by using the same are provided to obtain a tomographic supersonic image for the whole region of an object without moving the probe. Plural supersonic transceivers(311-1 to 311-5) are disposed on a flexible belt(313) at regular intervals, each supersonic transceiver having a transformer array. A signal transmitting part is built in the belt to transmit or receive a signal to or from each supersonic transceiver. A fastening part(314) is formed on both ends of the belt. The supersonic transceiver has a transformer array support supporting the transformer array to the belt, and a supersonic input/output part(312) contacting a surface of an object for inputting and outputting a supersonic signal.</p> |
