PURPOSE: An intelligent plug socket for power line communications is provided to effectively supply electricity by grasping real time electricity use amount for an individual instrument and establishing an opening and closing schedule of a power source. CONSTITUTION: A relay(110) opens and closes a power source provided to each plug socket part. A metering part(120) meters electricity use amount of an electrical instrument connected to each plug socket part. A central processing part(130) controls the relay and the metering part. A power line communications part(140) transmits and receives schedule information for opening and closing of the power source through power line communications between electrical instruments.
