PURPOSE: A composition for skin moisturizing and promoting hair growth using Cinnamomum camphora extract is provided to suppress 5alpha-reductase. CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin moisturizing contains Cinnamomum camphora extract. A composition for promoting hair growth or preventing alopecia contains the extract. The extract is isolated using leaves, stems, fruits, seeds, flowers, or mixture thereof using water, ethanol, or mixture solvent thereof. The composition is a cosmetic composition for skin or hair. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of emulsion, lotion, cream, gel, pack, or powder. |
