PURPOSE: An automatic control device for vehicle tire air pressure is provided to prevent the air pressure reduction of a vehicle tire due to natural leakage or puncture by controlling the air pressure of a tire properly. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control device for vehicle tire air pressure comprises an air compression pump(11), a direction control valve(12), a rotary unit assembly(13), a tire air pressure sensor(14), and a controller. The direction control valve is connected to the outlet of the air compression pump by using a hose and controls the direction of compressed air from the air compression pump to outside or to the direction for supplying the air to a tire. The rotary unit assembly comprises a rotary body(13a) and a fixed body(13b). The rotary body is installed in the tire fixing hub(5) of a vehicle and the fixed body is installed in a knuckle(6). The rotary unit assembly ventilates the flowed air from the inlet of the fixed body to the outlet formed in the rotary body. The tire air pressure sensor comprises an air injection port(14a) and is installed in a tire wheel(1) to output electric signals for temperature and the air pressure of a tire. The controller controls the direction control valve according to the electric signals according to the signal output by the tire air pressure sensor. |
