Plug-in connectors for electrical components in motor vehicles having a punched comb (14) which forms connection contacts (16) for a counterpiece of the plug-in connector, a cable (2) with insulated electrical connection lines (6) which are electrically connected to the punched comb (14), a first plug housing portion (18) made of hard plastic, to which the cable (2) is attached, and through which the punched comb (14) protrudes, and a second plug housing portion (32) made of a soft plastic, which directly encloses the individual lugs (12) of the punched comb (14) along an extension section of the lugs (12), are known. However, said connectors frequently provide no protection from the penetration of humidity into the area of the connection contacts (16). It is therefore proposed that the second plug housing portion (32) extends over the first plug housing portion (18) in the plug-in direction of the plug-in connector, wherein the portion (38) of the second plug housing portion (32), which protrudes over the first plug portion, comprises a support surface (48) for a plug counterpiece. |
