<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of achieving a reduction in size. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 1 comprises: a light source device 2; an optical modulator 5 for modulating a light beam emitted from the light source device 2; a projection optical device for projecting the light beam modulated by the optical modulator 5; and a flexible substrate 6 of which one end is connected to the optical modulator 5. The light source device 2 is constituted of a light-emitting element mounted on the flexible substrate 6 and is arranged at an emitting position for emitting the light beam to the optical modulator 5 as a result that the flexible substrate 6 is bent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
