<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid sharpness degradation in a composite image even when image composition is performed after color interpolation of a multi-viewpoint image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device for generating a composite image using multi-viewpoint image data before color interpolation captured by a multocular image capturing device includes: means configured to acquire information of pixel values and a pixel positions in the multi-viewpoint image data; pixel position determination means configured to determine the pixel position, in the composite image, of each pixel of the multi-viewpoint image data according to an arbitrary focus position, on the basis of optical parameters at the time of the image capturing; color derivation means configured to derive the color of each pixel of the multi-viewpoint image data; and pixel value calculation means configured to calculate the pixel value of each pixel of the composite image, using the determined pixel position in the composite image and the pixel value of the multi-viewpoint image data corresponding to the derived pixel color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
