<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure composed of polarization filter and spectral filter layers, both of which are divided in every minute region with the size of one pixel of a light-receiving element, and laminated one on another. <P>SOLUTION: An optical filter disposed in a pre-stage of an image sensor 206 has a structure composed of a polarization filter layer 222 whose vertical polarization region which selectively transmits only a polarization component P in a specific direction and whose horizontal polarization region which selectively transmits only a polarization component S in a direction opposite to the specific direction are divided in units of imaging pixels and a spectral filter layer 223 whose red spectral region which selectively transmits only light in a red wavelength band and whose non-spectral region which transmits light without selecting wavelengths are divided in units of imaging pixels, the two filters being laminated one on another in light transmission direction. Irregularity on the top face in lamination direction of the polarization filter layer located at the lower side of lamination direction is flattened by filling it with a filler 224 before the spectral filter layer is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
