<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a curl of a recording medium caused by a movable roller. <P>SOLUTION: An image is recorded in the recording medium by using a delivery roller for delivering the recording medium, a carrying part for intermittently carrying the recording medium delivered by the delivery roller to a buffer area arranged between a support and the delivery roller to the support side from the buffer area, and a recording part for recording the image in the recording medium intermittently stopping on the support. While imparting tension to the recording medium by the movable roller of wrapping the recording medium around in the buffer area while being displaced according to a change in the length of the recording medium in the buffer area, high speed delivery operation for delivering the recording medium at a first speed to the buffer area and low speed delivery operation for delivering the recording medium at a second speed lower than the first speed to the buffer area are selectively performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
