<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a steer-by-wire steering device that combines multiplexing for securing redundancy against a failure of a steering main motor and a fault of the control device, and high functionality utilizing a multiplexed portion in normal circumstances. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for the steer-by-wire steering device includes a switching mechanism 17 detaching the main motor and transmitting the rotation of a sub-motor to set a steerable fail-safe mode. A first control device 101 controls a reaction actuator 4 and the sub-motor 7. A second control device 201 drives the main motor 6. The first control device 101 has an abnormal time switching command part 106, and puts the switching mechanism 17 into the fail-safe mode when receiving a diagnosed result that shows the failure of the main motor 6 and diagnosing the fault of the second control device 201 by a mutual fault diagnosis part 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
