<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens whose entire system is small, having a high zoom ratio, with satisfactory optical performance across an entire zoom range from a wide angle end to a telephoto end. <P>SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, from an object side to an image side in this order: a first lens group L1 having positive refractive power; a second lens group L2 having negative refractive power; a third lens group L3 having positive refractive power; a fourth lens group L4 having negative refractive power; and a fifth lens group L5 having positive refractive power. In order that an interval between the first lens group and the second lens group increases, an interval between the second lens group and the third lens group decreases, an interval between the third lens group and the fourth lens group changes at the telephoto end, compared with at the wide angle end, the first lens group L1 through the fourth lens group L4 move from a wide angle end to a telephoto end at zooming, and a focal distance f1 of the first lens group L1, and focal distances fw, ft of the entire system at the wide angle end and the telephoto end are appropriately set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
