<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor device capable of easily adjusting the mount position of a head part in which a magnetoresistive element is internally disposed and improving noise resistance against external electrical noise. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor device having a magnetoresistive element 3 includes a housing 10 in which the magnetoresistive element 3 is internally disposed and a luminous body 8 for showing the state of the magnetic sensor device. The luminous body 8 is disposed in the housing 10. In the housing 10, an opening 11a is formed that opens so as to make it possible to see visible light emitted from luminous body 8 from outside of the housing 10.
