<p>When an accelerator opening degree exceeds a predetermined accelerator opening degree threshold value, a depression force for an accelerator pedal (2) is increased over a base depressing force by a predetermined amount. During this depression force increasing process, there is performed overshoot control such that a depression force command value is temporarily made larger than a depression force increase target command value (A) according to which the depression force for an accelerator pedal (2) is increased over the base depression force by a predetermined value, and that subsequently, the depression force command value is returned to the depression force increase target command value (A). As regards this overshoot control, there is set an overshoot holding time during which an overshoot amount (B) or the depression force increase command value is held at a value larger than the depression force increase target command value (A), on the basis of the magnitude of the hysteresis of the base depression force of the accelerator pedal (2), said overshoot amount (B) being an overshoot amount in a depression force increase command regarding the depression force increase target command value (A). On the basis of the above, it is possible to prevent impairment of the operability of the accelerator pedal (2) while improving the responsiveness of the depression force at the time when the depression force of the accelerator pedal (2) is increased over the base depression force.</p> |
