<p>PURPOSE: A device for combining RF(Radio Frequency) beam steering and BB(BaseBand) processing in a wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to perform the combined RF beam steering and BB processing of signals. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(404) receives information for channel estimation from a transmitter(402). A controller(422) confirms a plurality of paths in a channel based on the information for the channel estimation. The controller calculates an RF precoding matrix for RF precoding including a phase shift for one or more signals to be transmitted from the transmitter. The controller calculates a BB precoding matrix for precoding the signals in a BB precoder related to the transmitter.
