PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve productivity by forming a diode in the process forming solar cells. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of diodes is formed in an edge region of a substrate. The plurality of diodes is parallely connected with a plurality of solar cells. The plurality of diodes respectively comprises a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. A connection electrode electrically connects the plurality of diodes to the plurality of solar cells. The plurality of solar cells comprises a back surface electrode layer(200), a light absorption layer(300), and a window layer(600). The connection electrode is comprised of material same as the back surface electrode layer. |
