PURPOSE: A drying device is provided to prevent dust from being attached on dried workpieces while the workpieces are transferred on a hanger in a drying chamber. CONSTITUTION: A drying device(1) comprises a hanger transfer part and a hanger returning part(12). In the hanger transfer part, a hanger support part is arranged in a non-stepped belt chain(8) moving in a driving chamber(2). The hanger transfer part transfers a hanger in the drying chamber along a chain rotational direction. The hanger returning part separates the workpieces from the hanger and returns the hanger to the upstream of the workpiece transfer direction.
