<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To robustly attain a desired acoustic effect with respect to the change of both ear positions of a listener. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an acoustic controller includes a control filter 421 and speakers 101 and 102. The control filter 421 multiplies a first acoustic signal by a control filter coefficient to obtain a second acoustic signal. The control filter coefficient is calculated based on multiple first head transfer function sets from the speaker 101 and the speaker 102 to multiple object both ear positions and multiple second head transfer function sets from an object virtual sound source 10 to the multiple object both ear positions thereby to allow a second spatial average of multiple complex sound pressure ratios at the multiple object both ear positions when the second acoustic signal and the first acoustic signal are respectively emitted from the speaker 101 and the speaker 102 to be close to a first spatial average of multiple complex sound pressure ratios at the multiple object both ear positions when the first acoustic signal is emitted from the object virtual sound source 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
