<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate variation in optical path length by compensating a phase variation even when the optical path length greatly varies. <P>SOLUTION: An optical reference signal transmission apparatus comprises: an optical distributor 2 for branching a laser beam into two; an optical frequency shifter 3 for shifting an angular frequency of one of the laser beams branched by the optical distributor 2 on the basis of a microwave signal for modulation; an optical partial reflection mirror 6 for reflecting a part of the laser beam output from the optical frequency shifter 3 through an optical circulator 4 and a transmission optical fiber 5 on the transmission optical fiber 5, and transmitting the remainder so as to output as an optical reference signal; an optical multiplexer 7 for multiplexing the other laser beam branched by the optical distributor 2 and the laser beam output from the optical partial reflection mirror 6 through the transmission optical fiber 5 and the optical circulator 4; photoelectric conversion means 8 for converting the laser beam multiplexed by the optical multiplexer 7 into a microwave signal; and a phase synchronization circuit 10 for generating a microwave signal for modulation on the basis of a phase of the microwave signal converted by the photoelectric conversion means 8 and a phase of a reference microwave signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
