<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a sheet processing apparatus and a printing apparatus which have low power consumption by enhancing the heat transfer efficiency from a heater to a sheet more than in the past. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet processing apparatus has the heater, an irradiation unit which irradiates a sheet with heat rays from the heater, and a contact unit which applies heat to the sheet by coming into contact with the sheet on a downstream side of the irradiation unit, and a part of the heat rays from the heater which raises the temperature of the contact unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
