<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader unit in which a card reader can be surely stored in a tray without causing rattling regardless of the size of the card reader. <P>SOLUTION: The card reader unit includes a card reader that reads information recorded on a card by being touched with the card, a card reader case composed of a lower case and upper case, and a rectangular box like tray 12 arranged in a space in the card reader case.
