摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow velocity and grain size measurement method that simultaneously and highly accurately measure a grain size and a flow velocity without any increase in cost, and a system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A flow velocity and grain size measurement system includes: a first measurement device which measures the flow velocity of a first phase associated with a working fluid flowing in an object to be measurement; a second measurement device which measures the flow velocity of a second phase associated with particles in the working fluid flowing in the object to be measured; and an arithmetic device which finds a correlation equation holding for the flow velocity of the first phase, the flow velocity of the second phase, and the particle size of the particles from the flow velocity of the first phase and the flow velocity of the second phase measured by the first and second measurement devices, and substitutes the measured flow velocity of the first phase and the flow velocity of the second phase in the correlation equation to calculate the particle size of the particles flowing in the object to be measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
