<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure sufficient sealing performance without increasing the manufacturing cost and a more complicated configuration for a sealed rolling bearing that is used in environments in which a large amount of water is sprayed about and the interior of the bearing achieves negative pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The ratio of the differences of the outer diameter D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the seal sliding contact surface 1a of an inner ring 1 and the inner diameter d of a seal lip 12a of an elastic seal member 12 in the natural state with respect to the diameter D<SB POS="POST">0</SB>of a roll neck part shaft A into which the inner ring 1 is fitted is set to 0.27-0.40%. Therefore, the friction heating of the seal lip 12a can be made less than conventional bearings used in environments where the ratio exceeds 0.40%, and an appropriate tension pressure is imparted to the seal lip 12a, and sealing performance that is superior to the prior art can be ensured without adding a structure such as a vent to the contact seal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
