PURPOSE: An apparatus for fabricating an ingot and a method thereof are provided to remove voids occurring on the rear surface of a seed crystal seed due to carbon silicon. CONSTITUTION: A crucible accommodates a raw material. A seed crystal holder(170) fixes seed crystals(190) arranged on a raw material. A bonding layer(160) is interposed between the holder and the seed crystal and adhered to the seed crystal. The bonding layer includes a main bonding layer and adhesion reinforcement particles. The main bonding layer is adhered to the seed crystal. The adhesion reinforcement particles are diffused into the main bonding layer. |
