ADVANCED ANTENNA SYSTEM-BASED COMMUNICATION METHOD AND DEVICE

Embodiments of the present invention relate to an advanced antenna system-based communication method. The advanced antenna system-bases communication method comprises: receiving a measurement report transmitted by a user equipment (UE); transmitting a handover request command to a destination evolved node base (eNB) on the basis of the measurement report, where the handover request command carries a horizontal angle of arrival, a vertical angle of arrival, and an antenna height of a source eNB; receiving a handover response command returned by the destination eNB, where the handover response command carries a horizontal angle of arrival and a vertical angle of arrival of the destination eNB acquired by calculation on the basis of the horizontal angle of arrival, the vertical angle of arrival, and the antenna height of the source eNB and of the distance between the source eNB and the destination eNB; and transmitting a handover command to the UE on the basis of the handover response command to allow the UE to transmit to the destination eNB a random access request command for accessing the destination eNB. The embodiments of the present invention improve for the UE the quality of random access to the eNB and reduce the rate of access failure.
