<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article allowing suppression of a crinkle or turning-up of the absorbent article in time of wearing or during the wearing, and to provide a packaged article wherein the same is packaged with a packaging material. <P>SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 includes: a body part 5 including a front face sheet 2, a rear face sheet 3 and an absorber 4; and at least a pair of wing parts 7 extending in the width direction from both the side edges 6 of the body part 5. The wing parts 7 are formed by both end portions of a wing material 9 made to cross the body part 5 in the width direction, and the largest dimension in the long direction of the wing material 9 in a portion of the wing material 9 overlapping the body part 5 is larger than the dimension in the long direction of the wing material 9 in the side edge 6 of the body part 5. The packaged article has: the absorbent article 1 folded in the long direction in one or more folding positions; and the packaging material packaging the absorbent article 1.
