<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently work a cooling fan for cooling a blade server. <P>SOLUTION: An enclosure control apparatus comprises a power supply control section, a cooling fan control section, and a blade unit control section. The power supply control section supplies power from a power source device to power-on instructed blade servers among a plurality of blade servers packaged within a housing. The cooling fan control section controls a plurality of cooling fans disposed at positions to cool the predetermined blade servers among the plurality of blade servers in such a manner that the predetermined quantity of winds are generated from the predetermined cooling fans in accordance with positions of the powered-on blade servers. On the assumption that the power-on instructed blade servers are powered on among powered-off blade servers, the blade unit control section calculates power to be supplied from the power source device to the cooling fans and determines the blade servers to be powered on in the case where the calculated power to be supplied to the cooling fans becomes minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
