摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner production method which is capable of depositing inorganic particles and/or a charge control agent on surfaces of base particles in one step and of making toner particles spherical, and to provide the toner. <P>SOLUTION: The toner production method for producing toner where inorganic particles and/or a charge control agent are deposited on surfaces of base particles, includes a step of mixing the base particles and the inorganic particles and/or the charge control agent by using a mixing device 100 including a shaft-like member 101 having a plurality of agitating members 102 provided on a surface thereof, a casing 103 capable of covering the plurality of agitating members 102 with prescribed gaps among them, and a driving member 112 rotationally driving the shaft-like member 101 with a center axis A of the shaft-like member 101 as a rotation axis. The casing 103 is, in a state of covering the plurality of agitating members 101, circular to have a fixed distance between a cross section vertical to the center axis A of the shaft-like member 101, of an inner peripheral surface thereof and the center axis A of the shaft-like member 101, and power consumption per unit mass is 0.20 kWh/kg or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
