<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly determine whether a battery pack is in a state of being mounted on a battery-driven apparatus or being a single battery pack when it is charged in a non-contact manner. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises: a non-contact charging circuit 95 for rectifying the electric power received by a power receiving coil 1; and a pack control unit 91 including an apparatus connection determination part, the pack control unit 91 being configured to determine whether a battery-driven apparatus 101 is attached/detached on the basis of the rectified voltage which is rectified by the non-contact charging circuit 95. Consequently, the determination can be performed, using the fact that when a simple battery pack is set to be charged, since the output of the charging circuit becomes non-load, the rectified voltage becomes higher. The determination whether a battery pack is in a state of being mounted on a battery-driven apparatus or being just a simple battery pack can be performed correctly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
